Now that the Backerkit Surveys have been sent out and the Pre-Order Store is open, it is now time for the doors to the Assembly to open for all members of the Delphyne Assembly!

That is correct, for anyone who is participating in the Delphyne Assembly, including backers of the Legacy tier, the voting period for heroines and bodyguard characters to be chosen for scenes will open soon!

Character Selection, part 1 of the voting process, will take place from October 23rd 2026 ~ October 31st 2026 (11:59pm JST).

After the deadline passes, any votes sent in will be rendered null and void.

We will be emailing or DMing you with details, so do keep an eye out for a message or email from us!

Ah, but before that, we would like to briefly introduce the bodyguard characters for anyone unfamiliar with them.

Tia's Bodyguards

To begin with, Tia's Bodyguards are essentially the first familiars that Tia Incarnates using the Demon God's power of Incarnation. We would like to once again remind you that when it comes to thinking of a scene for them, we cannot accept anything too...overboard.

Carbuncle Knight Kana

A dragon girl who inherited strong dragon blood from her mother, and has a habit of carrying around a giant shield.  She's a bit of a worrywart, and spends a lot of time preparing for things to the point that she ends up late to everything.

Reaper Apprentice Sara

A self-proclaimed Reaper who picked up a sickle and chain to fight. She has a complex about her short height, and gets angry easily when you call her a child or mention her body size. 

Al-Mi'raj Amira

A single-horned rabbit knight with a strong sense of responsibility. Despite being a rabbit, she is, in fact, quite the gourmet.

Nega-Flame Brim

A girl with monstrous features, covered in ice and flames. She's a hardcore gambler, and often gets caught up in betting games.

Kelpie Rider Lupina

A young beastkin girl often seen riding her beloved horsey 'Piisuke'. She's a bundle of energy, and likes setting records. She has quite the competitive spirit as well.

Kobold Bomber Laki

An 'Office Lady' type of Kobold Woman who loves blowing enemies to smithereens with her powerful explosives. She's the type to remain calm under pressure, before immediately blowing up any problem in her way as she turns her back to the explosion and walks off in a cool manner.

Meliads Alisha

A female wood spirit who speaks in a manner that suggests she has low blood pressure. She can use the talking apples growing from her spirit tree to heal her allies.

さて、初めに説明しなければならない点。

ティアの近衛兵は、魔神の眷属召喚の力、「幻魔創生」を使って、パートナーであるティアを「宿主」にし、最初に召喚された眷属達。

選ばれた近衛兵はシーンをもらうわけですが、内容によっては受け付けられないシーン案もありますので、ご留意ください。

カーバンクルナイト    カーナ

大きな盾を持った竜の血を色濃く受け継いだ少女。心配性な性格で、あれもこれもと準備をし過ぎて遅刻するタイプ。

死神見習い    沙羅

鎖鎌を持った自称死神の少女。背の小ささを気にしており、子供扱いされたり「小さい」と言われると怒る。

アルミラージ    アーミラ

責任感の強い一角ウサギの騎士。語尾がヨなのはウサギ獣人族の特徴なのヨ。　実はかなりのグルメ。

ネガフレイム    ブリム

炎と氷の属性を持った魔法生物の女性型モンスター。常日頃から賭け狂っている真性のギャンブル狂。

ケルピーライダー    ルピナ

愛馬ぴーすけ（ケルピー）に乗った獣人の少女。元気っ子で、記録にこだわる。競争したがり。

コボルドボマー    ラキ

爆弾で敵を粉砕するコボルド族のＯＬ風爆弾魔。ピンチには目立たないように敵を木っ端微塵に爆殺してクールに去る。

メリアス    アリシャ

常に低血圧っぽい喋り方をする樹霊族の少女。霊木の「おしゃべ林檎」で味方の身体を癒やす。

A promise was made the moment you took the step to support us on this journey, and we intend to keep it, and deliver you the best possible game ever. But before that, we would like to extend our sincerest thanks to each and every one of you for your support! 

And so without further ado, let us dive into what is contained in this new Stretch Goal!

Really only comes with one very big addition, and that is...!

Nei Chaos Route Story Addition!

Wait, so she was not originally planned to have any extra story in the Chaos route?

Well, as with VenusBlood RAGNAROK International, there were initially no plans for the new heroine to take part in the Chaos Route, and their involvement was more or less to be contained within the Law route. In RI, Chaos Vidar was given life thanks to the fervent support of a dedicated fan. 

For Lagoon, while we had no initial plans for Nei in the Chaos Route, the sheer outpour, the absolute deluge of support we received waas overwhelming. And so we wanted to show our gratitude, and hey, what better way to repay the loyalty of our fans than with something huge, something...TRULY GRAND!

And what could be more exciting than a metric ton of new scenes for existing heroines? Why, MORE SCENES FOR THE NEW HEROINE THAT WAS OFF-LIMITS! Not to mention, actual confirmation that she is appearing in both routes, too?!

We really did our best to work around the artist's schedule to get this to work, just as a special treat this time around for the best fans in the world, y'know? Hehe. Maybe don't get too used to it~!

Ah...But of course, you guys are simply dying to know something else, correct?

After what Vidar got in VBRI with a Chaos specific form, surely Nei deserves something similar, no?

Hmm...Well...You certainly aren't wrong! 

We aren't out of surprise reveals just yet in this update, and so without further ado...

Here is the rough design draft of Chaos Route Nei!

Quite the familiar colour scheme and design theme, wouldn't you say? One might even wonder what could have happened to cause such a drastic change...

Well, do look forward to seeing what new developments in the story Nei will bring to the table!

Remember the half-blank Dakimakura Cover sample image we had for Nei? 

Well, the other half of the Dakimakura will be based on Nei from the Chaos Route! Still a WIP design, though.

つまり、今回は皆様の熱い愛と応援に驚かされました。本当に、VBLIプロジェクトにたくさんの支援、誠にありがとうございます！

最高のファンたちに、何等かのお返ししたいと思ってました。もちろん、最高のゲームを作り上げ、皆様に提供することが、クラファンに参加した時点で、我々の間で交わした約束ではありますが、それでも何かを。

というわけで、秘密ストレッチゴールを追加しました！

秘密SG「世界を架ける約束」

では、肝心のSG内容ですが...実は、１つだけなんです。

そして、その内容は...!

カオスルートで、ネイが登場する追加ストーリー決定！

ん...？　それって、つまり、元はカオスルートでの追加ストーリーの予定はなかった、と？

VBRIと同様、新規ヒロインをロウルートメインで活躍するストーリーを企画していて、カオスルートでの追加ストーリーを予定しておりませんでした。VBRIの時は、とある愛と熱意に溢れるファンのおかげで、何とかカオスルートの追加ストーリーを実現させられましたが。

LAGOONにおいては、新規ヒロインネイにカオスルートの追加ストーリーを予定しておりませんでした。しかし、VBLIプロジェクトへの溢れんばかりの大量の愛と応援を受けて、スタッフ一同大変感激いたしました。その愛と熱意にこたえるために、VBLIを最高の仕上げにするには、これはもはや、何か特別なコンテンツを用意しなければ！

ファンたちが何を求めているのは熟知しております。ヒロインたちのシーン追加がお好きでしょう？　それなら、皆様に（残念ながら）選んでいただくことができなかったネイちゃんに、もっとシーンを足そうと思ったわけです！　そして、両ルートに存在し、ストーリーに貢献することも確定いたしました！

いや～、本当に頑張りましたよ！　元々スケジュールの問題で指定不可にさせて頂いたネイちゃんに、追加ストーリーとシーンを足すために、スケジュールの再調整などもありまして。でも、我らの最高のファンたちのためなら、仕方ないですよね！

Simple enough update today, but filled with important information, so please do give it a read!

First of all, the Backerkit smoke test...What exactly do we mean by that?

Well, how it works is that, before we can send the Backerkit survey out to every backer, we are required to do a 'Smoke Test' to confirm there are no problems with the content of the survey. As such, we will begin the test when this update goes live, and approximately 5% of backers from every pledge level will be sent a smoke test survey.

This survey is the same as the one that will be sent to everyone else, so in a way, you're basically just getting it early. 

Smoke tests have been sent out, so if you received one, please reply promptly!

The other surveys should be sent out by tomorrow (17th October 2026 JST). Oh yes, and the pre-order store will go live at the same time, so do keep an eye out!

*Small Note: For anyone who chose to back via Paypal payments, you will be added in manually as a backer, but as this has to be done by hand, you might be sent your survey a bit later than the rest. Thank you for your understanding.

簡単に言いますと、VBLIグッズを追加購入できる『バッカーキット』のβテストです。各プレッジの約5%のバッカー（支援者）に、ランダムで案内メールが送付されます。この案内に従ってバッカーキットにアクセスして頂き、選択型グッズの回答や住所入力等のシステムに不備がないかというテストとなります。

スモークテストはすでに開始しており、その他のバッカー（支援者）の皆さまには、明日中(10月17日)に送られます。

プレーオーダーストアも同じく、全員にメール案内が送られる時に同時解放される予定です。

もし他の人よりも前にバッカーキット案内のメールが来たら、βテスターとして当選したと思い、ご回答の程よろしくお願いいたします。

The VenusBlood LAGOON International project is a huge success and we would like to thank each and every one of you for your support, from the bottom of our hearts.

Oh, and yes with this total amount raised, we have indeed hit every Stretch Goal! Which means more scenes to go around, huzzah!

Extra Information about Backerkit & Scenes

Firstly, now that failed payments have been squared, information should be imported to Backerkit, allowing us to begin setting up the surveys and pre-order store. 

We foresee the set-up process taking us about a couple of weeks, so the surveys and pre-order store should go live sometime during mid-October, so do stay tuned! We will release an update once it is ready.

Limited-time Add-ons will be available for 2 weeks after the pre-order store and surveys go live, so be sure to keep an eye out for the update!

Speaking of Limited-time Add-ons, as mentioned in the FAQ and on earlier updates, The Legacy of the Demon God and Voting tiers are no longer available, but Rebirth and Flower of the Battlefield pledges are available for a limited time.

We are sure many of you are curious as to how many scenes in total are coming? Well...It is still a rough count, but here you go!

That's more than 50 new scenes! Truly unprecedented, and we are so very happy to have received such an outpour of love and support.

For anyone involved in the voting pool, we will begin the voting procession once the Surveys are sent out and the Pre-Order store goes live, so do stay tuned! (We will likely also have a concrete number of scenes each heroine has received by then too so no worries there!)
